Health & Safety Legislation sets minimum standards required by organisations in order to manage safely in the workplace.

The Health & Safety At Work Act 1974 sets out the need for employers to give ‘instruction, training and supervision’ to employees as part of their legal responsibilities.

Managing Safely is aimed at giving delegates the knowledge and tools to tackle Health and Safety issues.  It will bring home the essentials of why Health and Safety is so important within their teams and work area.

Training is accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest professional Health and Safety body.  Successful completion provides your employees with achievement of a nationally recognised and certificated qualification*

• The legal situation – employers and employees responsibilities
• Investigating accidents and incidents
• Measuring Performance

*To gain the Certificate, delegates will need to attend the four day course, complete a written assessment and undertake a workplace project.
