Human Resources

the teamYour employees and volunteers are pivotal to the success of your charity.  They are the ‘face’ of the charity in terms of attracting funding and promoting the work and benefits offered. Therefore, maximising employee performance is fundamental.

The Bad News:

In the current economic climate the pressure of balancing the operational requirements against the number of employees left to deliver the business plan often leaves capacity restrictions.

The calibre of your people will help you stand out from the crowd and develop and deliver your unique offer to market. But if you employ staff you already know ‘people issues’ can take up an inordinate amount of your management time and time is money!

Employment Legislation is in overdrive with major pieces of legislation being introduced; an example being the Equality Act 2010, law from 1 October 2010.

Good management of employee relations from recruitment and selection through to termination can be ‘challenging’.  Cases to Employment Tribunals are increasing and with that the associated costs to the employer also increases.

The Good News:

We practice what we preach and will work with you recognising the rights of your staff and volunteers to ensure they are confident and competent in all they do and maximise the contribution and performance they make within your Charity.

We provide practical advice, training, coaching and support in all aspect of Human Resources but (there’s always a ‘but’, isn’t there?) we are different in so much as we roll our sleeves up and work with you on a tactical as well as a strategic level.

  • Need to introduce a Performance Management program but do not have the capacity or skills in place to write and/or deliver the program?
  • Looking to recruit staff and not quite sure how to do it cost effectively?
  • Confident your volunteers are delivering your expectations?

  • Considering Redundancies but not sure how to ensure legal compliance?

life cycle

We will help you at each and every stage of your employee’s ‘life cycle’ to deal with all the ‘headaches’ along the way and so maximise your organisation’s  performance through its employees.
