Charity Training was established in 2005 by author and charity director Tony Gibbs to provide leadership and management training dedicated to those working in the Third Sector and was incorporated within The Pentire Partnership in January 2010. Following a strategic review of our own, (we practice what we preach) Charity Training has been rebranded to embrace our wider training and consultancy offer to become Charity Direction in December 2010 to reflect our offer to corporate clients and individuals who are looking to future proof their learning and development.

In flatter, less hierarchical structures recognition cannot easily be achieved by simply climbing the corporate ‘greasy pole’ and not everyone wants to climb it anyway, do they?
So, what else can we offer to hard working, dedicated employees to recognise their efforts towards the corporate goals?
Research has proved that organisations that invest in their employees enjoy greater staff retention and also better recruitment as they are viewed as investors in their human capital whilst the training is geared to achieving corporate objectives – win/ win we’d say.
