On successful completion of this unit a learner will:

• Understand the importance of adopting a quality management approach in the voluntary sector

• Understand customer requirements
• Be able to prepare an operational plan to meet customer needs and organisational objectives
• Understand ways to promote a healthy and safe environment conducive to productive work for staff and volunteers
• Be able to agree a project to research
• Be able to apply problem solving skills to a management issue
• Be able to report project outcomes
